164ASPWE444852As a medical biochemist, who for years side by side with the doctors on the same goal – to protect patients and the cure of diseases. During my training, I have a rudimentary knowledge of medicine, but I’ve never understood why a highly skilled medical professionals have never learned anything about self-healing and natural healing ability of human beings. I wondered why they were so uncomfortable with alternatives (traditional) therapies and spirituality. Where are all the free thinkers of modern medicine, that the power to have attention drawn to alternative therapies ?
My next question was, is, that a neglect of modern medicine, our body’s natural mind? I hope not. While integrative medicine is recognized by the doctors, the pace is too slow. At the end of their training, many doctors believe that compassion and the spirit that has been lost for drugs with the name. Why is this so?

For a better understanding of the terms used in this article, I would some definitions:

Modern medicine, also known as West, the traditional or conventional medicine known to focus primarily on the physical side of the body for treatment. Another name for modern medicine is medicine.

Alternative medicine, traditional medicine or natural known, is a general term given to the wide range of therapies, most of which are over 100 years. Alternative medicine takes a holistic approach, ie it is not only the physical body but also of the opinion that the mind and soul. It defines health as a state of perfect balance between mind, body and spirit.

Integrative medicine combines the approaches of Western and alternative and complement but not replace conventional therapy. Integrative medicine does not reject conventional medicine nor uncritically accept alternative medicine.

At the beginning of the era of integrative medicine, many
Doctors face a dilemma: either to learn and adopt alternative therapies into their practice or to ignore. However, the reception was to take a risk, the risk of losing the trust of his patients who are accustomed to other therapies. Furthermore, doctors do not want to violate the sacred principle that has been taught: “Above all, do no harm.” They were afraid to try something new or different, because conventional science tells us that “replacement therapy can not work because we do not know how it works!

The dilemma is understandable from a medical point of view.
Modern medicine would like to explain everything scientifically and logically. That’s good, but on the other hand, there is a demand for alternative medicine, people have tried and enjoyed. How do you respond to the enormous demand for alternative methods? Alternative therapies work and what they do, then the physicians should keep them. Be solved Fortunately, at last.

The medical profession is finally learning the old theory
We can not understand the disease, unless we understand that the person’s illness and accept the fact that the body and mind are united. Our minds and our bodies are designed to stay in balance. The vast majority of diseases for which a patient requires medical care are partially psychosomatic, which means that the physical symptoms are caused by mental or emotional disorders.
That is why we need the help of science to address our health, but we also need for the patient with the hope and faith in treatment. MD now has to emotionally and
scientifically competent to deal with psychosomatic illnesses, and if not
The patient is back with another problem! Do you know why?
Because no one watched the development of the disease, the first place!

Future generations of doctors need time to familiarize
with integrative medicine. I hope that this time
to better understand not only the disease but also their patients.
Integrative medicine is a step towards a better relationship
between patient and doctor.

We are pleased that we now integrative medicine, a combination of alternative medicine and Western medicine designed to cure. Integrative medicine considers the body, mind and spirit, and lifestyle. This drug is both conventional and alternative methods, which combines the best of both worlds.

In many cases, traditional healing methods have been introduced to
Western medicine from the patients! They brought their own healing
Traditions of their MD. In fact, they knew that their tradition
they had in the past, and I wanted to use it now!

Fortunately, they found many talented, open-minded physicians, allowing them to use their own traditions of healing, but always provide a watchful eye on the treatment, it does not harm their patients. And the modern Western medicine has learned about aspects of traditional and alternative therapies. Gradually, modern medicine takes the fact that Western medicine can offer no solutions, but always still betting on modern science, if the acceptance of alternative methods of treatment.

The use of integrative medicine therapies, body, mind, like meditation, spiritual healing, acupuncture, self-hypnosis, attention, stress reduction, visualization, yoga, tai chi, the fields’ energy of the body, reflexology, massage lead, pictures, praying and many other alternatives . Although we know with certainty that our mind is a positive role in healing, how does it remain a mystery!

Yes, the integrative medicine, the patient’s attitude, spirit,
Hope, faith, spirit and faith in the doctors office, secure
Change in the Western approach to healing. Integrative medicine is still surrounded by skepticism and controversy. In the near future, we need to be implemented in medical schools and residencies, most courses for physicians and other health professionals. There are many challenges and opportunities are great.

Integrative medicine is not only for patients but for the
want to increase their self-awareness, improve their wellbeing and to avoid any problems on health. By meditation and spiritual changes and alternative therapies in Western medicine, medical professionals face of modern medicine.

Fortunately, after many years of denial of alternative therapies,
The modern Western medicine is willing to accept the spirit and the energy therapies and other alternative treatments such as powerful tools in the fight for their health. Thus, patients and partners in the healing process.

Today, the doctors about alternative methods have been developed are still uncomfortable during practice. A new approach in medicine requires a new approach to medical education. But things are changing because of training introduced recently in Integrative Medicine. The world of modern Western medicine is changing daily for the best, and good for the patient.
